GAR-update: withdrawal of EN 484:1997, EN 521:2006 and EN 14543:2005 + A1:2007

The standards EN 484:1997, EN 521:2006 and EN 14543:2005+A1:2007 have been replaced by new versions. Appliances burning gaseous fuels used for cooking, heating, hot water production, refrigeration, lighting and washing need to be certified based on the updated standards after the dow date.

Kiwa helps The Ocean Cleanup to improve plastic cleanup system

The Ocean Cleanup is a Dutch initiative to clean up the plastic trash in the oceans. For this the organization uses a long half-circle plastic floater. Kiwa conducts research into the properties of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), the material of which the cleanup system’s floater is made.

EU-funded nuclear power plant research project meeting at Kiwa Sweden
