In order to increase knowledge in the area of hydrogen in Europe, a number of e-learnings is developed in the context of EU-funded projects. During the Hydrogen: Production and Treatment e-learning, you will learn more about producing hydrogen and making it suitable for application in fuel cells.
This module addresses the various ways in which hydrogen can be produced and any subsequent process steps to render the gas suitable for application in fuel cells. The ways in which hydrogen can be stored and transported are also discussed.
In order to increase knowledge in Europe about hydrogen and fuel cells, a number of e-learnings is developed in the context of an EU-funded project. In the Netherlands, these modules are offered by Kiwa Training (in Dutch or in English). In addition to this module, they are the core module Introduction to Fuel Cells and Hydrogen and the modules Fuel Cells for Transport Applications, CHP Installations with Fuel Cells, Generators Based on Fuel Cells and Micro Fuel Cells.
During the Hydrogen: Production and Treatment e-learning the following topics will be discussed:
This module is intended for participants with a technical MBO education (intermediate vocational education) and some knowledge of chemical processes and electricity. The participant must have previously done the Introduction to Fuel Cells and Hydrogen core module, or have mastered the basic knowledge taught in this course in a different manner.
You can do the e-learning in your own time and at your own pace. The study load for each module is 40 to 60 hours.
