Are you a producer, distributor or buyer of plastic bags for the collection and removal of (household) garbage, but not yet in possession of the KOMO label, but you would like to. Your own quality mark

We issue the KOMO quality mark with our assessment guideline. KOMO is the Dutch quality mark for construction products and processes and is managed by the KOMO Foundation. The KOMO certification falls under the assessment guideline AD 9901; a certification scheme especially for garbage bags. You will not receive the certificate just like that. We set high standards for the entry check of the raw materials, checks during the production process and for the end product. When requesting a quote, indicate for which dimensions of garbage bags you want to be certified. For bags with dimensions of 600x800 mm or 450x600 mm.

Procedure obtaining  the certificate

After approval of the quotation, we proceed to conduct an initial audit. We do this by means of a company audit and prescribed laboratory tests. The outcome of this determines whether you meet the requirements of AD 9901. If the outcome is positive, you will receive a Kiwa certificate with KOMO mark. Subsequently, the quality system -as laid down in the IKB- is regularly checked by us. In this way your product continues to meet the set requirements. Your customers can trust your product to deliver what they consider important; quality.

Note: Does your production location have a certified ISO9001 system? Then a reduction of two visits per year applies. This was decided on 8 March 2013 by the Board of Experts.
