Draft-evaluation guidelines BRL 52204 (KOMO) and BRL K17605 (Kiwa) published for comments
The following two revised draft-evaluation guidelines BRL 52204 (KOMO) and BRL K17605 (Kiwa) for glass reinforced polyester piping systems have been published for comments.
In the BRL’s the following parts have been updated:
BRL 52204
- In accordance with the new (Dutch) KOMO template, the arrangement of the chapters has been altered;
- NEN-EN 14364 has been replaced by EN-ISO 23856 and therefore reference to the new standard EN-ISO 23856 is made, which includes the following major updates:
- Reducing factors for dry creep (alpha) and ageing (beta) according to NEN 7037 are not applicable anymore and deleted from the BRL;
- Resistance to shock or impact is not applicable anymore and deleted from the BRL;
- In accordance with the latest updates of CEN/TS 14632, the following has been changed:
- Resistance to abrasion is not applicable anymore and deleted from the BRL;
- Resistance to chemical attack as audit test covers resistance to ring deflection under wet conditions and the latter is not applicable as an audit test anymore.

- Resistance to shock or impact is not applicable anymore and deleted from the BRL.
