The KOMO product certificate for geothermal heat exchange systems is relevant for installers of these systems, house owners, architects and anyone working for provinces or municipalities involved in plastics piping system installations. 

About KOMO product certification and testing 

Certification of plastic piping systems inside buildings with the KOMO quality mark guarantees compliance with the requirements of Dutch standards for products for the building and infrastructure sector. The lifetime of the used products (pipes, the nozzle and fittings) shall be at least 50 years. In your request for quote, indicate for which products and which technology area you want to be certified. For this assessment guideline this is: F2 piping systems.

  • Pipe systems class cold (PE) 
  • Pipe systems class cold warm (PE-X, PB and PE-RT-II)
