Insulation union couplings in gas conduits

This approval requirement specify the requirements for insulation union coupling, installed inside buildings after the main shutoff valve, for the transport of gaseous fuels in accordance with the 2nd and 3rd family as per NEN-EN 437. Insulation union couplings are able to make a removable pipe connection which is not electrically conductive. The insulation union couplings have a maximum nominal diameter of 50 mm. The insulation union couplings can be supplied as a single part or in combination with other parts and are used in gas distribution systems for gas pressure up to 1 bar.
