This entry level (level 1) industrial gas training course is for less experienced operatives wanting to develop their knowledge and experience of gas-fired systems and equipment in an industrial setting.
I-Gas Level 1 is a limited-scope, entry-level accreditation which provides access to Level 2 which has been developed for candidates with some gas work experience.
It's a two-day course for less experienced operatives wanting to develop their knowledge and experience of gas-fired systems and equipment in an industrial setting.
Kiwa Training is approved by the Combustion Engineering Association (CEA) to deliver I-GAS training for engineers working in factory premises containing gas fired equipment.
The Level 1 course is for new entrants coming into the industry to help with familiarisation of gas industry standards, legislation and procedures.
Candidates applying for I-GAS qualifications are expected to already be working as mechanical fitters or installers, maintenance technicians or in other associated industrial activities where they are working around gas fired systems and equipment.
They may already have domestic or commercial gas qualifications and need to enhance these with an industrial gas qualification, or they may have no formal gas training at all.
This course consists of theory based training, ending with a theory assessment.
Discounted group bookings are available at our training site in Cheltenham and the training can also be delivered to groups off-site. Please contact the Kiwa Training team on 01242 662121 for more information or to get a quote.
