Update to RHI Regulations

The government has adjusted the 2021 RHI Regulation regarding the Renewable Heat Incentive Scheme. This adjustment is made in the UK Statutory Instrument 2022 No. 1096, The Renewable Heat Incentive Scheme (Amendment) Regulations 2022.

This adjustment comes into force on 23rd November 2022, the day after UK Statutory Instrument 2022 No. 1217 The Renewable Heat Incentive Scheme (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2022.

BEIS has issued an amendment to the regulation.
The adjustment is to disapply for 1 year from the date the regulation comes into force, the requirement for wood pellets to meet ENplus A1 standard or an equivalent standard. The provision is in:
