Pavement failures are often a result of subgrade and/or water infiltration issues, not improper construction. In either case, however, our staff can evaluate and offer recommendations for effective solutions.

Our knowledge of subsurface soil and groundwater conditions, combined with an expertise in pavement materials, allows us to evaluate pavement systems and performance, as well as causations of failure. In order to provide recommendations for pavement maintenance and/or repair, Raba Kistner uses multiple testing methods to evaluate pavement conditions, including:

  • Traditional Coring and Testing
  • Falling Weight Deflectometer (FWD) Testing
  • Ground Penetrating Radar
