Producers who want to demonstrate that their products have been tested and meet the strict requirements can request a product certificate from Kiwa in accordance with NSF/ANSI/CAN 60 'product certificate for drinking water chemicals'
Chemicals covered by this Standard include, but are not limited to:

  • Coagulants and flocculants
  • Disinfection and oxidation chemicals
  • Chemicals for softening, precipitation, sequestering and pH adjustment
  • Chemicals to control corrosion and scale
  • Miscellaneous treatment chemicals, and miscellaneous water supply chemicals.

Annual testing and inspections

All Kiwa NSF/ANSI/CAN 60 certified products are under control. Annual testing and inspections ensure continued consistency of the required quality level. To maintain the certificate, manufacturers may not change suppliers and may not make changes to product compositions without assessment and approval by Kiwa.

Accredited by ANAB
