If your company stores hazardous goods, you most certainly would like to see these to be well protected against fire. Particularly, storage of hazardous goods in larger quantities (more than 10,000 kg) requires special attention. In many cases, council authorities will specify requirements for such storage.
Storage of hazardous goods shall be properly protected. In many cases, if protection level 1 applies, extinguishing systems are required. For example automatic sprinkler systems and deluge systems (possibly with addition of a foam concentrate), automatic gaseous fire extinguishing systems and automatic Hi-Ex systems using inside or outside air. In addition to technical systems preconditions such as structural and organizational measures apply for an effective protection.
We are independent experts and can be commissioned for both new and existing protection systems. This may include the following activities:
- Inspection (baseline-inspection)
- Assessing basic assumptions
- Preparing an Inspection Plan
- Design assessment
- Conducting first and follow-up inspections including inspection certification
