Kiwa Group company T2 Utility Engineers incorporates Applied Professional Services
T2 Utility Engineers, part of the Kiwa Group and located in the USA and Canada, has incorporated Applied Professional Services (APS).
APS is a leading provider of utility locating services in Washington and Oregon, USA. The company provides a suite of utility locating services, including utility designating, vacuum excavation, Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), and video pipe inspection services (CCTV) to clients across the region. APS will continue to provide those services as well as supporting the expansion of T2 Utility Engineers’ Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) services in the US’ Pacific Northwest region. In business since 1996, APS’ experienced team is recognized for the high quality of their work and for developing long-standing client relationships.
T2 Utility Engineers (T2ue) specializes in the investigation and analysis of above ground and underground utilities from 25 offices across the US and four locations in Canada. T2ue’s team of professionals includes licensed engineers and surveyors, project managers and field technicians with expertise providing SUE and related consulting services to manage and mitigate utility risk for infrastructure projects.
“I am enthusiastic about the benefits this merger provides for our clients and the APS team,” said Steve Brown, President of APS. “I wanted APS to be part of a leading SUE provider and that’s exactly what T2 Utility Engineers is. Our company ideals align. Through this merger we can stay true to our values, provide new opportunities for our staff to build their careers, and deliver exceptional value for our clients. We look forward to building a successful future.”
Craig Snyder, President of T2 Utility Engineers, US, added, “We’re thrilled to welcome APS to the T2 Utility Engineers family and the Kiwa Group of companies. APS expands our geographic reach, builds upon our capabilities, and positions us to serve infrastructure projects and client needs with quality services and additional resources in the Pacific Northwest.”
Paul Hesselink, CEO of the Kiwa Group, said: “Kiwa is proud to be investing in T2ue’s development as a member of our global Kiwa Group. T2ue already had a strong footprint in subsurface utility engineering, coordination, and surveying services. By adding APS’ services to the T2ue portfolio, we can now offer our US and Canadian markets an even more comprehensive SUE package.”
