Kiwa welcomes BCC Inc. of China to family of companies
Kiwa has reached an agreement with BCC Inc., specialized in management system certification in China, which makes BCC Inc. a part of the international Kiwa Group, thus strengthening Kiwa’s footprint in China.
Kiwa is an international leader in Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC). With a strong home base in Europe, Kiwa has been delivering product certification and agro-food inspections in China since 2005. By allying with BCC Inc., active in management system certification in China with over 600 employees, Kiwa strengthens its TIC portfolio and platform in China which allows launching various additional activities. While also obtaining the ownership of 50% in SNQA, a joint-venture of BCC and USA-headquartered NQA focused on certification in the automotive sector, Kiwa expands its TIC services to this sector in several Asian-Pacific countries as well.
Full-service TIC player
BCC mainly offers QMS, EMS and OHSMS systems certification under Chinese accreditation. After allying with Kiwa, the company can develop into a full-service TIC player in its home market with access to international trade, certification and CE marking.
Leveraging the complementary strengths of the three companies Kiwa, BCC and SNQA will allow to take advantage of new additional growth opportunities in the dynamic Asian TIC market and to better support the challenges of worldwide trade of its customers.
Win-win cooperation
Employees and management of BCC and SNQA are committed to stay after the transaction. The Chairman and main shareholder, Mr. Huang Quan, will continue in his role as Chairman of BCC and SNQA.
