Transtech OY is the first IRIS™ certified company by Kiwa

Transtech OY, belonging to the Skoda Transportation Group, is the first organization certified by Kiwa in accordance with the international IRIS ™ scheme for the railway sector.

Transtech OY, which has over 600 employees in Finland, has obtained the certification in accordance with this standard, after the audits carried out on its Design, Production and Maintenance activities. Kiwa Italia performed the IRIS ™ Certification of Transtech OY in close cooperation with Kiwa Inspecta Finland.

Companies operating in the railway industry have to meet extremely rigorous quality requirements. Promoted by UNIFE and supported by operators and manufacturers of the sector, the IRIS (International Railway Industry Standard) certification complies with the International Quality Standard ISO 9001, with specific requirements for companies in the railway sector.
