Kiwa’s approach to CSR

With a long history of corporate social responsibility (CSR), Kiwa takes sustainably seriously – both for clients and for the company itself. In 2022, Kiwa welcomed the proposed Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), which is set to transform business through increased transparency from 2025. Kiwa’s pioneering work in this area has had a broad impact, and our focus on CSR ensures Kiwa operates sustainably.

Pioneering sustainable business

Kiwa’s focus on CSR was highlighted in 2015 when the company became the first certification body in the Netherlands to be awarded the CSR management certificate after meeting the requirements of the CSR Performance Ladder (MVO Prestatieladder). Based on ISO26000, AA1000 and the GRI Standards, the CSR Performance Ladder measures the extent to which a company has embedded CSR into its business.
