Kiwa Primara GmbH offers a wide range of tests in the automotive sector at its location in Kaufbeuren. The laboratory in Kaufbeuren in southern Germany is ideally accessible for suppliers, service providers and manufacturers. In the fully accredited laboratory, we test Li-Ion batteries, on-board charger, DC/DC converters as well as wall boxes, car charging stations and more.

Our modern equipped laboratory offers:

• Bi-Directional DC power supply up to 1500 V and 150 kW

• Bi-Directional AC power supply up to 630 Vac and 135 kW

• Provision of coolant between -40 °C and +60 °C

• Fully variable CAN bus system with up to 4 channels

In the field of environmental testing the following testing and climate chambers are available:

• 120 L climate shock chamber with temperatures between -80 °C and +220 °C

• 600 L climate chamber with humidity and temperatures between -40 °C and +180 °C

• 5 x 340 L climate chamber with humidity and temperatures between -40 °C and +180 °C

Other relevant test facilities:

• IP test chambers (water and dust protection) for all classes

• Salt Spray Corrosion Test Chamber

• Shaker and shock table for mechanical tests
